Umma (or Ummah) is an Arabic word that is usually translated into English as nation though this does not only define a group of people with common ancestry or in the same geographical region; Umma means this plus much more. Dictionary.com defines Ummah as the Islamic community, which is a somewhat better definition.
In a political and historical context, the Muslim Umma is a collective term for countries dominated by Islam.

Most Umma countries are suffering and struggling, which we want to change! Poverty! Disasters! Crisis! Uncertain and difficult times prevail, which risk affecting those already concerned even more. Our Umma has a rich history and many good assets that need to be revived and managed in better ways!
The time has come when we must learn to help each other to help ourselves.
It is our responsibility to build a safe and prosperous future for our children and grandchildren.
